There is only what each individual player likes best, and then why they like it best.Īll (well, most) tube amps will have their own distinguishable "tone" or sound naturally, as most players will have a tone or sound in thier head that they wish to get out of said amp. ![]() So what's the best 1x12 tube combo in your opinion and why? :beer: I'll go first, my favourite at this time is probably a laney lionheart l20t.Īlthough I don't own one I think it has been well built with attention to detail/ has plenty of gain/ has good built in reverb/ has an effects loop/ comes with a celestion greenback as stock/ looks nice/ and is fairly reasonably priced for what it is, I also think the tilt back stand is an amazing idea IF it is sturdy and will last with the amp. ![]() I'm sure a lot of us have experienced the joys of a 1x12 tube combo, loud, portable, great tone, not to mention plenty of them look good. ![]()
